Workshop structure
The workshop is structured around morning and evening sessions of three hours each, including talks and posters. Amongst a total of nine sessions over five days, three sessions will be focused on signal processing, three on astro-imaging, and three on bio-imaging. Each of the nine sessions will consist of: one keynote talk, 30' + 5' of interaction; four standard talks, 20' + 5' of interaction; up to five posters, 45' during coffee or aperitif with an additional 1’ of presentation at the end of the talks. The maximum poster size should be A0, preferably portrait.
Invited and contributed work
Session organizers are invited by the area chairs. Each session organizer is responsible for the speaker invitations for keynote and standard talks, as well as for two to three poster presentations. Contributions for non-invited poster presentations are subject to abstract accceptance.
All contributions should be submitted as a maximum 1-page abstract by the corresponding deadline (a template will be provided on the submission page). All abstracts will undergo a review process. Invited abstracts are automatically accepted, possibly subject to minor revision. Proposed contributions will undergo a full review process. The workshop proceedings will be made made publicly available by the workshop date on the proceedings page.
Free time and outdoor activities
Late morning and afternoon are free from scientific sessions, so that participants can catch the opportunity for in depth discussions with colleagues, while simultaneously relaxing in the hotel, going for a walk or enjoying the ski slopes. For more information see the outdoor activities page.
Lunch
The restaurant will open for lunch at 12:30 for participants staying at the hotel. A lunch pack will be provided at 11:00 for those participating to outdoor activities.
Conference dinner
The conference dinner will take place after the last session on Thursday evening. Swiss fondue and raclette will be proposed.
