Overall structure
Session distribution and structure
The workshop will rely on morning and evening sessions of 3 hours each, including talks and posters. Among a total of 9 sessions over 5 days, 3 sessions will be focused on signal processing, 3 on astro-imaging, and 3 on bio-imaging.
Each of the 9 sessions will consist of:
- 35' - 1 keynote talk (30’ + 5’ of interaction),
- 100' - 4 invited talks (20’ + 5’ of interaction),
- 45' - up to 5 "deluxe" posters (1’ presentation at the end of the talks).
Posters should be standard A0 size. A laptop can be brought with supplementary material.
Invited and contributed works
Each session organizer, invited by the area chairs, is responsible for gathering the keynote and invited talk contributions for his sessions as well as part of the poster contributions. Proposals for poster contributions are open to any interested researcher, and not subject to prior contact with the session organizer.
All contributions should be submitted as a maximum 1-page abstract by the corresponding deadline (a template will be provided on the submission page). Invited abstracts are automatically accepted, while proposed contributions will undergo a review process.
Workshop proceedings
A single pdf file will be compiled including all invited and accepted 1-page abstracts, and made publicly available as workshop proceedings by the workshop date.
Free time and skiing activities
Shining hours are free from scientific sessions, so that participants can catch the opportunity for in depth discussions with colleagues, while simultaneously relaxing in the hotel, going for a walk or enjoying the ski slopes.
For more information see the skiing page.
Conference Dinner
The conference Dinner will take place after the last session on Thursday evening. Various kinds of Swiss fondues will be proposed.
